About the Artist
I am a multidisciplinary artist working primarily with hand-beaded textiles and wearable forms. My practice sits between fashion and fine art, using color, pattern, and surface as a language for storytelling. Through slow, detailed craft, I create pieces that hold memory, emotion, and care.
I am self taught and developed my practice outside of traditional academic systems. My work has grown through years of independent experimentation, research, and making, shaped by both personal experience and material curiosity. Beading is central to my process. The repetition and focus of the work allow ideas to unfold gradually, with each piece developing through time, labor, and close attention.
Color plays a leading role in my work. I use bold palettes and layered patterns to explore resilience, identity, and joy, often balancing intensity with tenderness. Many of my pieces are designed to be worn, lived with, or held close, blurring the line between object and experience.
In addition to collections and exhibitions, I create custom and collaborative works for individuals, families, and designers. These projects are approached with the same care and intentionality, honoring both craftsmanship and the personal stories they represent.
My practice is ongoing and evolving, rooted in handcraft while continuously expanding what contemporary wearable art can be.
